COMMUNITY IMPACT
Throughout its history, the Junior League of Fresno has been the driving force behind the kinds of initiatives and institutions that make communities healthier, more vital places to live. Members research, develop, manage and support projects with community partners in areas where needs are not met and existing resources are minimal. Matching trained volunteers with specific community needs has resulted in many successful League partnerships and projects over the years, such as:
- Break the Barriers
- Central California Blood Center Blood Mobile
- Children’s Hospital Central California
- Craycroft Youth Shelter
- Comprehensive Youth Services
- The Discovery Center
- Exceptional Parents Unlimited
- Family Court Services Playroom/Waiting Room
- Firefighters Creating Memories
- Footsteps
- Fresno Art Museum
- Fresno County Shot Mobile Immunization Clinic
- Marjaree Mason Center
- Ronald McDonald House
- The Sanctuary
- Senior Girl Athlete Awards Banquet…….and many more
We encourage nonprofit organization to join us in collaborative community projects that combine volunteer hours with monetary support. This combination ensures maximum impact in the community through the Junior League of Fresno.
