MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Kylie Nesgis – President
Kylie has been an active member of the Junior League of Fresno since 2014. As a Senior at Hoover High School, Kylie was a recipient of Junior League of Fresno’s Senior Girl Athlete Award. Prior to her presidency, Kylie served on the Board of Directors as the Recording Secretary and President-Elect. Her previous Leadership Roles include serving as Fund Development Chair, and two years as the Senior Girl Athlete Chair. Kylie received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Pre-Physical Therapy from California State University, Fresno. She is also a graduate from Regis University in Denver, Colorado where she received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Kylie currently works at Valley Children’s Hospital.
Kylie enjoys spending time with her family and loves her new role as Auntie. When Kylie isn’t serving with JLF, you can find her serving at The Well Community Church in Kid’s Ministry. Outside of serving and working, Kylie loves cooking, adventuring outdoors, relaxing at the lake, playing soccer, gardening, and hanging out with her Shih-Tzu, Harley.

Rachel Gillam – President-Elect
Rachel has been an active member of the Junior League of Fresno since 2012. Rachel is a proud resident of the Central Valley and has always been active in the community. She was introduced to Junior League by a close friend who invited her to our annual spring fundraiser, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. With a taste for fashion, Rachel loved this event because she was able to wear a beautiful and large fancy hat she had purchased. Most recently, Rachel was on the Board of Directors as the Finance Vice President and prior to that was the Nominating Chair. Rachel has served on various committees including, Spring Event committee, Senior Girl Athlete committee, Community Impact committee, Fund Development committee, and Nominating committee. Her favorite Leadership Role was serving as the Breakfast at Tiffany’s Spring Event Chair. Rachel received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminology with an emphasis in Victimology from California State University, Fresno. Rachel also attended the University of Phoenix where she received a Masters Degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. A significant amount of her career has been around at risk and foster youth within the Central Valley. Rachel currently works as the Department Manager for the Internal Revenue Service.
Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Orlando of 12 years, her three sons, Orlando III, Brian, and Kobe, and her two daughters, Shay and Nailea. When Rachel isn’t serving with JLF, you can find her serving with Fresno State’s African American Alumni Association. Outside of serving, Rachel enjoys shopping, reading, going to the movies, and spending time with her friends.

Allison Brum – Finance Vice PresidentAllison has been an active member in the Junior League of Fresno since 2015. Most recently, Allison was on the Board of Directors as the Nominating and Placement Chair. Her previous Leadership Role includes, Senior Girl Athlete Chair. Allison received her Bachelors of Science Degree at San Diego State in Child and Family Development. Allison also attended California State University, Fresno to receive her Masters Degree in Counseling. Allison resides in Hanford and has worked as a school counselor for 15 years at Hanford High School.
Allison enjoys shopping, listening to true crime podcasts, and watching Bravo. Allison is an avid sports fan and loves watching her LA sports teams play. When Allison is not serving with Junior League of Fresno, you can find her traveling all over the world or soaking up some rays on the beach!

Sarah Papazian – Recording SecretarySarah has been an active member of the Junior League of Fresno since 2019. Currently, Sarah is serving her second term as Recording Secretary. Prior to that, Sarah has served on the Community Impact committee and Senior Girl Athlete committee. Sarah received her Bachelors of Science Degree from University of the Pacific. Sarah also attended McGeorge School of Law to earn her Juris Doctor Degree. Sarah works as an Attorney for the City of Fresno’s Attorney’s Office.
Sarah loves spending time with her family, her niece, her friends and her cat. When Sarah isn’t serving with JLF or working, she enjoys sewing Christmas stockings and trying to unlock and get out of escape rooms.

Mia Muñoz – Nominating & Placement ChairMia joined the Junior League of Fresno in 2016. Mia has worn many hats in Junior League of Fresno including, Community VP, Membership VP and on the Nominating & Placement committee which has led her to be the current chair. Mia received her Bachelors of Art Degree in Mass Communications and Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. Mia currently works in the Marketing Department for Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG).
Mia enjoys reading a good book, spending time with her family (especially her nieces) and good friends. Mia enjoys all types of music and tries to catch as many concerts as she can!
