  • MEET OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

    Crystal Waller-Scott – Membership Chair

    Crystal joined the Junior League of Fresno in 2021 and has been fully immersed into league since she started. Crystal accepted her first Leadership Role this year.  Crystal received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Louisiana State University in Sociology with a minor in Professional Leadership. Crystal also received her Masters of Business Administration at Webster University. Crystal served in the Army and is currently assigned as the Assistant of Military Science at Fresno State University Army ROTC Program.

    Crystal enjoys doing activities with her kids and friends outside of the league. Crystal moved to Fresno about one year ago and enjoys taking her kids to cool new places and creating new experiences with them.

  • Emily Erwin – Community Chair

    Emily Erwin joined the Junior League of Bakersfield in 2019 and transferred to the Junior League of Fresno in 2021. Prior to this year, Emily served as our Senior Girl Athlete Chair. Emily received her Bachelors of Art Degree in Journalism from Arizona State University. Emily also attended San Francisco State University where she received her Masters Degree in Broadcasting.

    Emily is an avid reader, mostly young adult fiction and thrillers. She enjoys spending time with her dog, Waylon, loves to cook and BBQ. Emily enjoys all the outdoor activities; snowboarding, riding dirt bikes, surfing, paddle boarding, long boarding, swimming, running, fishing. If you can’t find Emily playing an outdoor activity, you can catch her renovating or fixing up something. Over the past year, she spent most of her free time renovating her kitchen with her boyfriend. Their next project is the RV they just purchased!

    You can catch Emily on KSEE24’s Central Valley Today as the daily lifestyle show host. Tune in Monday through Friday at 3:00 pm.

  • Carissa Villarreal – Fundraising Chair

    Carissa joined the Junior League of Fresno in 2021 and has been fully immersed into league since she started. Carissa accepted her first Leadership Role this year. Carissa received her Bachelors of Art Degree from California State University, Fresno in Mass Communications and Journalism. Carissa also received her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Fresno. Carissa currently is a 5th grade teacher for Central Unified School District.

    Carissa enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys traveling, online shopping and wine tasting.
