Community Service Grants Criteria and Application

1. 1. 1. Funds shall be used to benefit programs directly in one of the following ways:
      - Implementation of new programs
      - Capital expenditures
      - To augment general operating expenses
      - Emergency funds
      - Specialized training related to the program
    2. Agencies must be a nonprofit according to IRS regulations and must demonstrate financial stability.
    3. Agencies must possess a Board of Directors.
    4. Agencies must effectively utilize volunteers or must be in the process of developing a volunteer program.
    5. Funds must be used to meet a unique or vital community need servicing and supporting women and children.
    6. Junior League of Fresno shall not act as a fundraising agent for other organizations.
    7. Recipient agencies may not receive Community Service Funds again for two consecutive years. (Click for past grantees)

      Community Grant Applications are reviewed and approved in the Spring of every year.
      
      Please submit your applications no later than May 17^th to be considered by the Projects Review Board.
