Grant Opportunities

Currently, the Junior League of Fresno (JLF) has chosen to focus our financial and volunteer efforts on supporting programs that service foster youth.

Community Service Funds are granted to nonprofit organizations for developmental or short-term needs. The purpose of these funds is to permit the Junior League of Fresno to respond to critical community needs.

Requests for Community Service Funds are directed to a Projects Review Board, via the Community Vice President. At any time a member of the Board may interview the agency representative and/or ask for additional information to aid with the selection process. The Projects Review Board then reviews the request. (Committee members who are directly affiliated with the requesting agency may not participate in discussions or voting regarding the request.) The recommendation of the Projects Review Board is then submitted to the Board of Directors for final approval. The grant amount varies based on need and available funds. There is a maximum limit of $1,000 per grant awarded.
